Weekly Prayer

Lord, we pray that we would not condemn ourselves when we fail You. We thank You that each and everyday is a new day and a new beginning. We submit ourselves to be daily transformed into Your image. We praise You that we are not who we used to be but are conforming to Your image.

Psalms 107:26-29

26 They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. 27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end. 28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea[b] were hushed.

Romans 2:25-29

The Jews and the Law

25 Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised. 26 So then, if those who are not circumcised keep the law’s requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? 27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the[c] written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker. 28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

Annie- God would change her heart, Arielle - internship and school finances covered, Belinda's nephew, Belinda's sister, Charles-peace and victory, Christina, plead the blood of Jesus over Denise and her daughter, DK’s and MLR’s marriages, Donna and family, Eduard, Florence, Iyana, James, James-employment, Joann - healing from HIV, Joel-employment, Joseph-come to know Christ's love, "self-love" and love for others, Mary's family members to find jobs, Maria, Marquis, Melissa, Pat, Paul and his mother, Peter, financial blessing for Roberts family who desperately need to replace their old jeep, Rene, Rene's mom, Robert.

Health and Healing

Andrea, Derithia, Garrett-eating disorder, Georgie, Gilda J., Jamar, Jeanne-to be healed of cancer and good reaction to chemo therapy, Madera, Marion, Marquita, Orlando, Pastor K. Mabry-Wright, Minister Naomi, Robert Sr., Sabrina.

Support and Comfort

Saints we prayed earnestly for Lorraine Lett. She was cancer free for a season. The Lord has called her home. Pray for her son, Stan Lett and our Jesus Group member, Marion.

Praise Alert

Jeanne has completed her 5th treatment. Let's believe and agree in faith, in the the name of Jesus, that she will get a clean bill of health!

Local

Donnie McClurkin to continue to speak freely and boldly. (Charles)
For all Christians to continue to maintain their Freedom of Speech.
Inform them that Christians are losing An examination of current legislations regarding the "stand your ground" law in Florida (and several states) and use of firearms. The states would repeal this law.

National

International

Growing Terrorist threats across the Middle East, North Africa, Yemen causing a US global travel alert.
An end to the clashes in Egypt. Bring an end to human sex trafficking and the worldwide oppression of women. North Korea - cease nuclear arms threat.

Political

Give President Obama godly wisdom in handling domestic and foreign affairs. Protect him, his family, Vice President and his family at home and when traveling. Allow the Senate and House of Representatives to work peacefully together and develop resolutions.
